Traffic resumes on Danube Bridge at Ruse for holidays

Traffic in both directions on the Danube Bridge at Ruse resumed at 16:00 local time on 17 December, the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said. Works on a 320-metre section towards Romania were completed a day early. During the Christmas and New Year holidays, all vehicles can cross without restrictions.

The next phase of repairs, on the 320-metre section towards Bulgaria, is due to start on 8 January 2026. Traffic will continue to flow in both directions on the lane not under construction.
