BNR to announce Bulgaria's 2024 Cultural Ambassadors

The "Bulgarian Cultural Ambassadors 2024" will be revealed tonight at 6 p.m. at the marble lobby of the Studio 1 of the Bulgarian National Radio. For another year, Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) will honour artists raising Bulgaria's profile internationally.

The initiative, launched in 2021 by journalist Nina Tsaneva, aims to recognise Bulgarian writers, painters, actors, singers, composers, directors and other creators whose work extends Bulgaria’s cultural reach. The campaign also seeks to build bridges between Bulgaria and Bulgarian communities abroad. The event will be hosted by Tsaneva and Radio Bulgaria editor-in-chief, Krasimir Martinov.

For BNR, the 'Bulgarian Cultural Ambassadors' campaign reflects the public broadcaster's commitment to promoting Bulgarian culture and strengthening ties with Bulgarians living abroad.
