On the occasion of International Migrants Day (December 18), migrants who own businesses in Sofia have come up with a Manifesto of Foreign Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria. They emphasize their contribution to the Bulgarian economy and insist on simplified business procedures that benefit the entire society. According to them, Bulgaria can only benefit from intelligent policies for migration and entrepreneurship, the “Hristo Botev” program on the Bulgarian National Radio has reported.

The manifesto is complemented by a handbook for migrant entrepreneurs, which contains useful tips. The text is the work of Ukrainian Anastasia Dehtiarova, who has been living in Bulgaria for 6 years. The preparation of the Manifesto is based on the experience of migrant entrepreneurs, as well as interviews conducted with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Association BESCO.
