Frosty morning with fog in the plains and sunshine in the mountains

On Friday, the lowest temperatures will range from -4°C to 1°C, slightly higher along the Black Sea coast, for Sofia around -2°C. For most of the day, it will be cloudy and foggy in the plains and valleys. It will be mostly sunny in the mountain areas. Toward the end of the day, the wind will pick up from the northeast. The maximum temperatures will range from 8°C to 13°C, around 9°C in the capital city.

There will be variable cloudiness along the Black Sea coast. In the morning, visibility will be reduced in some areas. Daytime highs will reach 11-12°C. The seawater temperature is 11-13°C. Sea state 1-2 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be mostly sunny with scattered high clouds. There will be a light northerly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 10°C, at 2,000 meters around 3°C.

On Saturday, fog and low clouds will persist in many areas. In the afternoon, cloud cover will increase from the southeast, and by evening, rain will begin in the southeasternmost regions. The lowest temperatures will range from 0°C to 5°C, and in the valleys, they may drop below zero. During the day, temperatures will gradually decrease, ranging from 5°C to 10°C.
