Bulgarian citizen dies at North Lake Processing Center in Michigan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the family and relatives of a Bulgarian citizen who passed away on December 15 at the North Lake Processing Center in Baldwin, Michigan.

The statement also says that the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Chicago is providing assistance to the family and is in constant contact with the relevant U.S. authorities. The Ministry relies on the investigative authorities in the country regarding the case and will continue to follow its development to safeguard the rights and interests of Bulgarian citizens abroad.
