Maria Mutafchieva and George Strezov rearrange ''Pieces of a Puzzle''

At the end of the year, we all rearrange pieces of the puzzle of the past months. Maria Mutafchieva does the same with “Pieces of a Puzzle” offering a new, delicate interpretation of the emblematic song by Mary Boys Band, joined by her husband Miroslav Mutafchiev, their daughter RIA, and composer, conductor and arranger George Strezov, who, in addition to conducting, also lends his voice to the new version. The recording also features some of Bulgaria’s best classical orchestral musicians and soloists. Maria Mutafchieva has more:

“Everything started with a letter. For George Strezov, the song 'Pieces of a Puzzle’ is his favorite piece by Mary Boys Band, and he spent several months working on its orchestration. We created a beautiful version of ‘Pieces of a Puzzle’, released just in time – in the magical anticipation of Christmas, capturing the feeling of sharing all the love in the world.”
