INSAIT ranks among the leading research institutes in Europe

The Institute of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology (INSAIT) at Sofia University ranks 13th in Europe. This is according to CSRankings, a metrics-based ranking of top computer science institutions around the world.

INSAIT thus places ahead of some of Europe’s most prestigious institutions, including the University of Oxford, University College London, the Technical University of Berlin, the Politecnico di Milano, and hundreds of others across Europe. INSAIT is also ranked first in Eastern Europe, according to the Ministry of Education and Science.

In specific fields, the institute ranks even higher – for example, in computer vision, it is among the top six in Europe.
