Precipitation all over the country on Christmas Eve

On Wednesday, the lowest temperatures will be between minus 1° to 4°C. In Sofia - it will be around 1°C. During the day, rainfalls will start in the western half of the country and by the evening, there will be rainfalls in the eastern regions, too. Significant amounts are expected in Southwestern Bulgaria and the northwestern regions. In the afternoon and on the night before Christmas, with the decline in temperatures, in many places in Northwestern Bulgaria and the high western fields, the rain will turn into snow. There will be moderate to temporarily strong northeasterly wind. The highest temperatures will be between 3 and 8°C; in the capital city it will be around 3°C.

At the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rainfall. Maximum air temperatures will be 9-10°, sea water temperature is 11-12°.

In the mountains it will be cloudy, with snowfall in many places. There will be moderate to temporarily strong wind from the south-southeast. There will be conditions for blizzards. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be about 3°C; at 2000 m - about minus 2°.
