Bulgarian housing prices jump 15.4% in a year, NSI says

House prices in Bulgaria increased by 3.8% in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter. The largest increases were recorded in Stara Zagora (7.2%), followed by Sofia (5.3%) and Varna (5.2%). Plovdiv was the only city to experience a slight decline, with prices falling by 0.1%.


Compared with the same period in 2024, house prices across the country rose by 15.4%, according to data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
