Unit 6 of Kozloduy NPP reconnected to the power grid

Unit 6 of Kozloduy NPP has been reconnected to the country's electrical grid, the nuclear power plant announced. The requirements of the technological regulations will be met and the power will be increased in stages.

At the end of October, the annual scheduled repair of the unit began and the defective protective membrane devices, located in the conventional, non-nuclear part of the unit, were replaced.

Unit 5 is operating according to schedule, the plant team also said.
