Sandanski selects “King of Wine”

For the 31st time in a row, the Municipality of Sandanski is selecting a “King of Wine” today. Wine producers from the region are participating in the competition, the municipality announced on its Facebook page.

Candidates had to provide 1.5 liters of wine with information about the variety, the settlement and the area of ​​the vineyard.
The qualities of the drink will be assessed by enologists. They will “crown” the winner within the framework of the Festival of Young Red Wine, which will be held on Bulgaria Square. The festival will also include a folklore program.
