The Association for the Development of the Bulgarian Community (ARBOM) in Moldova, headed by Aleksandar Borimechkov, organized a festive trip for students from the high school in the town of Taraclia to the capital, Chișinău. Together with their instructor - the Bulgarian language teacher Liliya Kirneva - the students presented the living traditions and rituals of the Bessarabian Bulgarians sincerely, emotionally, and in the Bulgarian language.

The festive program was presented at three venues: the Parliament of Moldova, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Moldova, and the office of a private company.

“We express our special gratitude to Member of Parliament Natalia Davidovici, at whose invitation the children had the opportunity to present their program in Parliament. The deputies were truly impressed by the performance and the vibrant spirit of Bulgarian traditions. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Moldova, Ms. Maya Dobreva, who warmly and attentively welcomed our carolers. Ms. Dobreva has always shown special care for the Bulgarian community in Moldova and consistently supports it,” the association wrote on its Facebook page.
