90 years of Bulgarian language education in the Cincinnati area were commemorated at the annual Christmas party of the Bulgarian Association of Cincinnati, held on December 21. The first Bulgarian folk school there was founded by the Macedonian Patriotic Organization in 1935, according to the Portal for Bulgarian Ideas and Causes Worldwide, eurochicago.com.

Two other important anniversaries were also celebrated: 15 years since the establishment of the Bulgarian School “Rodolubie” (“Love of the Homeland”) and the 10th anniversary of the Bulgarian Association of Cincinnati.
Special recognition was given to Dimitrina Partridge for her unwavering dedication and support of the Bulgarian community in the Cincinnati area. Dimitrina Partridge is the chair of the Bulgarian Association of Cincinnati, Ohio.
