The Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (EABA) will focus on several initiatives in 2026. These include continuing exchanges of best practices among organisations representing Bulgarians abroad, organising a second Festival of Bulgarian Folklore Groups from abroad, holding a large-scale “Bulgarian Artists Abroad” meeting in September in Sofia, and launching a new sports-educational programme for children and youth called “Yunashki Games.”

“Strategic priority remains creating a fairer model for access to higher education in Bulgaria for children and young people across the entire Bulgarian diaspora,” said EABA director Rayna Mandzhukova, as quoted on the agency’s website.
