The Bulgarian National Bank will mint collector euro coins in 2026

The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) announced that in 2026 it will issue collector euro coins, which can also be used for payments, but only in Bulgaria. One will be gold, three will be silver, and one will be copper.

In January, BNB will issue a 10-euro silver coin. A 5-euro copper coin will be released in March. A 10-euro silver coin will be available in April. Another 10-euro silver coin is expected to be released in August.

The most expensive is the 100-euro gold coin, which is expected to be released in October. It is dedicated to St. John of Rila, considered the heavenly protector and patron saint of the Bulgarian people.
