Citizens will be able to participate directly in government securities market

The Council of Ministers has adopted a Strategy for the Organization of the Primary Offering of Government Securities for Individual Investors. It will allow non-professional investors - individuals and legal entities, to participate directly in the government securities market in Bulgaria. This was announced at a briefing by the outgoing Minister of Finance Temenuzhka Petkova after the end of the last government meeting of the year. According to her, in order to reach this decision of the Council of Ministers, a specially created interdepartmental working group has studied international experience.
