Open-air concerts to welcome 2026

With open-air concerts in different parts of the country, Bulgaria will bid farewell to 2025 and welcome the new year 2026. Residents and guests of Sofia will gather at Knyaz Alexander I Battenberg Square, where the festive program will begin at 9:30 p.m. Among the participants will be the legendary band Signal, Merry Boys Band, Irina Florin and others.

Varna welcomes 2026 with Ishtar, C-Block, BTR, Victoria Georgieva, Varna Ensemble and Romanos Kolytos. The concert at Independence Square starts at 10:00 p.m. In Silistra, they will bid farewell to the old year with a folklore concert under the stars on the central Svoboda Square.

Singer, musician and actor Vladimir Mihaylov together with the rock band Rewind! will perform original songs, as well as favorite Bulgarian hits in Ruse in front of the municipality building. The celebration there begins at 11:00 p.m., BTA reported. In Sliven, the program will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Tsar Osvoboditel Square. The high-spirited atmosphere will be provided by rock band "Ahat" and folklore orchestra "Prima Plus".
