Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil: God gave us the freedom to choose our future

God gave us freedom, a great gift. This means that He gave us the opportunity to choose our future—what we want to be, what we want to strive for, what we want to achieve.

This was said by Bulgaria's Patriarch Daniil before officiating today's solemn liturgy for the feasts of the Circumcision of the Lord and St Basil the Great, as reported by BTA.

Patriarch Daniil added that if we strive to acquire Christ's virtues, our year and our lives will be filled with God's blessings.
