Due to strike actions on Greek territory, traffic disruptions are possible for both passenger cars and heavy goods vehicles at all border crossings in both directions along the Bulgarian border with Greece, the General Directorate “Border Police” announced.
At a national meeting in Malgara near Thessaloniki, Greek farmers who have been blocking roads across the country since the end of November gave the government a deadline until Wednesday inclusive to respond to their main demands.
Otherwise, they are threatening a complete blockade of highways, bypass roads, and all border crossings on Thursday and Friday.
