Osogovo ski center welcomes winter sports fans with affordable prices

At the height of the winter season, many people are turning their attention to Bulgaria’s smaller and more affordable winter resorts. One such destination is the Osogovo Ski Center, located just about 20 kilometers from Kyustendil, where a ski weekend can be significantly cheaper compared to major winter resorts such as Bansko, Borovets, and Pamporovo.

As of the beginning of 2026, the full-day lift pass for adults at Osogovo costs €30, the resort management announced on its Facebook page, while the half-day pass is priced at €25. Lift passes for children up to 12 years of age cost €25 for a full day and €20 for a half day.

Winter sports enthusiasts have access to five ski runs. The Osogovo run has the highest level of difficulty and is suitable for advanced skiers. It is over 900 meters long, with an average gradient of 22% and a vertical drop of 204 meters. The run is equipped with an artificial snowmaking system and is groomed daily with specialized machinery. The ski lift is with a capacity of 720 people per hour. There is also a ski rental facility, and for thrill-seekers, lighting is provided for night skiing.

Nearby is the Osogovo Fun Park, where snowboarders can enjoy a full range of features and obstacles designed to boost adrenaline levels. The road to the Osogovo Ski Center is in good condition and is regularly cleared, the resort operators assure.
