From January 14 to January 20, anti-epidemic measures will be introduced in Varna District due to the spread of influenza and acute respiratory diseases, the Ministry of Health announced.
The reason is the recorded increase in the number of cases in the city of Varna last week. The overall registered morbidity in the province is 239 cases per 10,000 people.
From January 14 to January 20, in-person classes in all schools will be suspended, as well as group and extracurricular activities, excursions, sports events, and other events. Visits to healthcare facilities and specialized social institutions for children and adults are suspended. Preventive check-ups, mandatory vaccinations, and re-vaccinations are temporarily suspended.
