Bulgaria's Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahov will open the Bulgarian stand tomorrow at the International Green Week exhibition in Berlin, the ministry announced.

This year, the world’s largest exhibition in the field of agriculture and the food industry marks its 100th anniversary and will be held from 16 to 25 January. Bulgaria is taking part for the 35th time, presenting traditions, quality, and innovation in the agri-food sector.

The Bulgarian stand covers an area of 140 square meters. Fifteen Bulgarian producers will showcase dairy and meat products, organic wines, honey and bee products, organic foods, rose oil, essential and cold-pressed oils, aromatic waters, and natural cosmetics.

Every year, the International Green Week attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and exhibitors from dozens of countries. During this year’s edition, a Global Forum for Food and Agriculture will also take place, including a Summit of Agriculture Ministers with delegates from more than 70 countries.

Bulgaria’s participation is under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
