Bulgaria presents its thermal spa resorts at an exhibition in Vienna

Bulgaria is showcasing its health tourism destinations at the specialised Ferien International exhibition. The Ferien Messe Wien 2026 is to be held in Vienna, Austria, from 15 to 18 January, according to the BTA.

Bulgaria's presentation is part of the exhibition's official programme and has been organised by the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, with support from the Ministry of Tourism.

The exhibition's theme is 'Bulgaria – from Roman antiquity to a modern thermal destination'. Visitors will learn about mineral waters' historical and modern uses, including in balneotherapy and medical spas.

Desislava Naydenova, Bulgaria's ambassador to Austria, will open the event.
