NSI: Bulgaria's year-on-year inflation rate in December 2025 was 5.0%

In December 2025, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) showed that the monthly inflation rate compared to November 2025 was 0.1%, while the year-on-year inflation rate compared to December 2024 was 5.0%. These figures were announced by the National Statistical Institute (NSI).

Annual inflation for December 2025 compared to December 2024, as measured by the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), was 3.5%.

Cumulative inflation, as measured by the CPI, was 12.3% over the last three years (December 2025 compared to December 2022) and 41.4% over the last five years (December 2025 compared to December 2020).
