Bansko will host two events of the FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup on January 17–18, giving riders a final chance to secure Olympic qualification, Bulgarian National Radio reported.

Over the two days, 127 of the world’s top snowboarders from 20 countries will compete on the Tomba piste beneath Todorka Peak. Saturday’s final begins at 13:00, with Sunday’s at 12:45.

Among the entrants are current Olympic champions Ester Ledecká and Benjamin Karl. Bulgaria will be represented by its top riders, including Radoslav Yankov, Tervel Zamfirov, Malena Zamfirova, Petar Gergyovski, Alexander Krashnyak, and Kristian Georgiev.

The event will open on Friday evening with a parade of teams through the centre of Bansko, starting at 18:00.
