Armenian virtuoso David Yengibaryan to hold concerts in Plovdiv, Sofia, and Ruse

David Yengibaryan – an extraordinary, original contemporary Armenian accordionist, composer, and improviser – will be visiting Bulgaria from January 25 to February 6 with a special solo program featuring performances ranging from Bach to free jazz, and from nuevo tango to Armenian and Balkan folk motifs.

The musician will present his music in Plovdiv, Sofia, and Ruse. The tour is organized at the invitation of the radio festival "Alarma Punk Jazz."

On January 25, 2026, he will perform in Plovdiv; on January 26 in Sofia and on February 6 at 19:00 in Ruse.

David Yengibaryan was born in Yerevan in 1976 but has been living in Budapest since the 1990s.
