The reform of the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) has been delayed by more than 25 years. This was stated on bTV by Grozdan Karadzhov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport in resignation. According to him, this is one of the most difficult, complex, and politically sensitive reforms, and so far no one has “dared to touch it.”
Karadzov was categorical that he has fulfilled precisely, punctually, and on time the commitments in the transport sector set out in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
