Eurozone ministers discuss introduction of the Euro in Bulgaria

European Commissioner for the Economy and Productivity Valdis Dombrovskis said that the introduction of the single European currency in Bulgaria is a major step for the country and a positive development for the euro area. He noted that the Eurogroup will today be briefed on the practical implementation of the changes in Bulgaria related to the euro, BTA reported.

According to the agenda, a report on the process of introducing the single European currency in Bulgaria will be presented by outgoing Minister of Finance Temenuzhka Petkova, as well as representatives of the European Commission and the European Central Bank, the Ministry of Finance announced.
