On Wednesday, minimum temperatures will range from -9°C to -4°C. Sofia will see -9°C. It will be cloudy, with snow expected to begin in southwestern Bulgaria around noon and spread across much of southern Bulgaria and the central Balkan Mountains by evening. Significant snowfall is expected in the Rila–Rhodope region, where a yellow weather warning has been issued for eight southern regions. There will be a light to moderate easterly wind, and temperatures in eastern Bulgaria will rise. Daytime temperatures will range from 0°C to 5°C, reaching around 1°C in Sofia.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly cloudy with rain along the southern coast by evening, with temperatures ranging from 5°C to 7°C.

Snow is expected in the mountains, particularly in the Rila–Rhodope region and the Central Balkans. There will be a moderate south-southeasterly wind and temperatures of around -2°C at 1,200 m and -5°C at 2,000 m.

From Wednesday night into Thursday, snow will turn to rain in parts of the Upper Thracian Plain, the Eastern Rhodopes and the central Danube Plain, creating icy conditions. On Thursday, rain and snow will affect southeastern Bulgaria, while western regions will remain dry. Black ice may persist in the east as temperatures continue to rise.
