“Lyubovta te Chaka”- A song for the heart and eyes that never lie

Iva and Velislava Kostadinovi continue to draw inspiration from Bulgarian folk music in their new song, “Lyubovta ate Chaka” (Love Awaits You). The track once again blends authentic Bulgarian folklore with a contemporary sound, exploring a timeless theme—love, which can be read in the eyes and cannot be hidden. Iva Kostadinova and Velislava Kostadinova have more:

"You can read a person’s story in their eyes. They never lie. They tell stories. Love is best seen and read in someone’s eyes. It cannot be hidden. If you want to know if a person is in love, look into their eyes. And besides with our eyes, we also express love through the song. This is what we sing about in our latest track, 'Love Awaits You,' part of the project 'Folk Fusion: New Sounds of Bulgarian Folklore.' Once again, we tell a story of love that goes through the vicissitudes of life, yet still stands its ground and continues to shine. That is its true power."

The music was composed by Iva Kostadinova and Svetlin Kuslev, who also created the arrangement. The lyrics were written by Hristina Dimova and Iva Kostadinova.

The music video for “Luybovta te Chaka” was directed by Stefan Marinov, with whom the duo has collaborated multiple times. The video features dancers from Ballet New eX and two actors—Nedilyana Pavlik and Yavor Valkanov— graduates of the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Krastyo Sarafov".
