After midnight on Thursday, in the eastern half of the country the precipitation will be mainly rain, and in places in the Ludogorie region as well as in the Eastern Rhodopes there will be conditions for icy surfaces. Minimum temperatures will range from minus 4°C to 1°C. In Sofia it will be down to minus 2°C.

During the day, in Southern and Eastern Bulgaria there will still be rainfall, but toward the evening it will weaken and stop. Over Western Bulgaria there will be no precipitation, and the cloud cover will break up and decrease. A light to moderate south–southeasterly wind will blow, but after noon it will shift to the southwest.

Maximum daytime temperatures will range from minus 1°C to 6°C, around 6°C in Sofia.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy and rainy.
More significant precipitation is expected along the southern coast. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the southern quarter. Maximum temperatures will be between 7 and 9°C, close to the temperature of the sea water. Sea conditions will be 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy, windy, with snowfall. Significant snowfall is expected in the Rila-Rhodope region and in the area of the Central Balkan Range. A moderate southwesterly wind will blow. Around noon the snowfall will weaken. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m above sea level will be around 5°C, and at 2,000 m around minus 2°C.

On Friday the wind will be light, in many areas it will die down, and in the plains and basins it will be foggy or with low stratus cloud cover. Minimum temperatures in most of the country will be between minus 5 and 0°C, and maximum temperatures between 2 and 7°C.
