Bulgarian film “One Gram of Life” embarks on international tour

The Bulgarian film One Gram of Life is set to begin a world tour, the film's team told BTA. The first European screenings will take place on 25 January in Madrid and Berlin, with some sessions already sold out and additional dates added in London and Berlin. On the same day, the film will also be shown in Las Vegas and Chicago, with further screenings planned in the United States in February 2026.

Screenings are also scheduled in Luxembourg, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

The film tells the stories of four children who started taking drugs for various reasons and explores the impact of their choices on their friends, relatives, and families. The script is based on real-life experiences collected by the national parental initiative “One Gram of Life”, founded by Mariella Kirova and Kalin Taushanov, which aims to raise awareness and prevent substance abuse among children and young people.
