Bulgaria has claimed the top two spots in the latest EasyJet index of Europe’s most affordable ski destinations. The study compared average prices for lift passes, ski equipment rental, hotels, transport, and even beer to identify the ten best-value resorts, BGNES reported.

The winter resort of Bansko, located at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, ranks first. It has been named Europe’s most budget-friendly ski destination, with visitors able to enjoy beer for £1, lift access for under £50 per day, equipment rental for around £15, and accommodation for approximately £45 per night.

Second place went to another Bulgarian resort, Borovets, which offers 58 km of slopes across three zones in the Rila Mountains. The destination is particularly popular with intermediate skiers seeking wide, well-maintained runs.

Other resorts in the top ten include destinations in Poland, Italy, Andorra, and France.
