A documentary about Mara Buneva will be screened in the USA

A screening of the documentary film “The Avenger”, which explores the life of Mara Buneva, will take place on January 24 in the city of Troy, Michigan, USA. The film will be shown at 1:00 PM local time at the Balkan American Center, located at 1451 E. Big Beaver, Troy 48083, according to the newspaper ''Bulgarians in Detroit''.

The publication recalls that “The Avenger” seeks answers about the heroine, called “the Macedonian Charlotte Corday,” whose fate continues to be shrouded in oblivion.
