The government will leave the ratification of Bulgaria's membership in the Board of Peace for Gaza, created by US President Donald Trump, to the next 52nd National Assembly. This was what outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev told bTV. Georgiev said that "the process by which Bulgaria makes such decisions has not been violated in any way".

The Council of Ministers has mandated the outgoing Prime Minister to sign the act, Georgiev specified. He added that Sofia supports European unity for Greenland. We believe that the people of Greenland are the ones who should determine their future and where they belong, Georgiev added. "I will remind all those who recklessly comment on our relations with the US that the renewal of the derogation for Lukoil is due on April 20, while the modernization of the Bulgarian army and the construction of units 7 and 8 of the Kozloduy NPP are directly linked to our relations with the US," Georgiev said.
