On Tuesday, minimum temperatures will range from around -2°C to 1°C in north-western Bulgaria and from 8°C to 10°C in the south-east. Sofia can expect lows of around 2°C. Unsettled weather conditions will persist throughout the day. Rain will be widespread overnight, with heavier showers in the south, while the western mountain regions will see snow, forming a thin layer. Winds will be moderate to strong from the south-southwest, shifting to the northwest in the west and easing somewhat. Daytime highs will range from 3°C to 8°C, with temperatures slightly higher in the southeast and around 4°C in Sofia.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with rain. Maximum temperatures will reach between 9°C and 13°C, with sea temperatures ranging from 5°C in the north to 8°C in the south. Waves will reach 3–4 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy, windy and snowy, with rain falling below 1,200 metres. Significant snowfall is expected in the Western Balkan mountains and southwestern ranges, with blizzard conditions possible in the mountain passes. Strong to gusty winds from the south-southwest will ease by evening, shifting to the west-northwest and bringing colder air. Maximum temperatures at 1,200 metres will reach around 3°C, dropping to -2°C at 2,000 metres.

By Wednesday morning, the clouds will clear in many areas, making way for sunny spells. From the afternoon onwards, cloud cover will increase from the west, with rain expected in the western regions by evening. Mornings will be colder, with lows around 0°C, while daytime temperatures will rise again under south-southwesterly winds.
