President meets BNB governor and deputy governors in search of prime minister

President Iliana Iotova continues meetings with those in positions that, according to the basic law, can hold the post of "caretaker prime minister". Today, within the framework of the constitutional procedure for appointing an official prime minister, she will meet successively with Bulgarian National Bank governor Dimitar Radev and deputy governors Petar Chobanov, Radoslav Milenkov and Andrey Gyurov, the presidency announced.
Yesterday, Iotova held a meeting with Parliament Speaker Raya Nazaryan, who declined to take the
position.
On January 29, the
president will meet Bulgaria's Ombudsman Velislava Delcheva and
Deputy Ombudsman Maria Filipova, and on January 30 - the Chairman of
the Audit Office, Dimitar Glavchev and his deputies Margarita
Nikolova and Silvia Kadreva.
