Colder weather with rainfalls expected

Over the next 24 hours, cloudy weather will prevail with rainfalls - significant in places in the southeastern half of the country. It will not rain in the northwestern regions. Temperatures will drop and by the evening in places in Dobrudzha and Ludogorie region the rain will be mixed with snow. The lowest temperatures will be mainly between 1° to 6°C and highest in most places will reach 4° to 9°C. In Sofia, the lowest temperature is expected to be around 1°C and the highest will be 4°C.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy with snowfall, which will stop in the afternoon from the west. There will be weak to moderate northwesterly wind, while on the high peaks in the massifs of Southwestern Bulgaria the wind will be from the north-northeast. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be about 2°C; at 2000 meters – about minus 3°C.

At the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rain, in places significant in quantity. The rainfalls will stop in the evening. There will be moderate to strong northwesterly wind. The highest temperatures will reach 9°-10°C and sea water temperature is 6°-8°C.
