Ludogorets achieves home victory against Nice

Ludogorets won 1:0 against the French team of Nice in a match from the 8th round of the Europa League football tournament. The team from Razgrad finished in 22nd place with 10 points in the main phase and continues to advance in the direct elimination stage.

The match started evenly but in the 42nd minute, Ludogorets took the lead after a nice combination between Vidal and Petar Stanić. The Serbian playing for the Bulgarian team found himself alone against the goalkeeper and scored the only goal of the match. At the end of the first half, Ludogorets missed to score in two good situations. After the break, Nice took the initiative, but did nothing memorable. Possible opponents of the Bulgarians in their next match are Hungarian “Ferencvárosi” or the German “Stuttgart”.
