Yellow code for freezing temperatures for all regions except Blagoevgrad

On Tuesday it will be cold with the lowest temperatures being between minus 10 and minus 5°C. In places in Northern Bulgaria and the high plains of Western Bulgaria the lowest temperatures will reach minus 14°C. In the southwestern parts of the country the lowest temperature will be 0°C; in Sofia around minus 8°C. It will be cloudy and by noon in the plains it will also be foggy. There will be weak to moderate east-southeasterly wind. During the day the temperature in most of the country will remain below 0°C. The highest temperature will be between minus 5° to 0°C; in Southwestern Bulgaria - up to 7°C. In the capital city it will be around 0°C.

There will be significant cloudiness in the mountains. In the highest parts of Rila and Pirin there will be light snowfall. There will be moderate to strong westerly wind. The highest temperature at 1200 m above sea level will be around 2°C; at 2000 meters - minus 2°C.

At the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rain in the southern parts. The highest air temperatures will be between minus 2 to 0°C. Sea water temperature is 5-7°C.
