Rainfall over the country, glaze ice expected in Western and Northern Bulgaria

On Thursday, the lowest temperatures in the northern and western regions of Bulgaria will be between minus 6 and minus 1°C; in the southern part of the country and along the Black Sea coast - between 1 and 6°C. In Sofia - around minus 2°C. During the day there will be rainfall over the entire country. In the western and central parts of Northern Bulgaria, glaze ice will form. Significant amount of precipitation is expected in the Rila-Rhodope region, in places in Eastern Bulgaria and the central regions of the Balkan Mountain. There will be moderate wind from the south-southeast. The maximum temperatures in the western and central parts of Northern Bulgaria will be between 0 and 2°C, in the rest of the country between 5 and 10°C. In the capital city, it will be around 5°.

It will be cloudy and rainy along the Black Sea coast. The maximum air temperatures will be between 8 and 10°C. The sea water temperature is 6 to 8°C.

It will be cloudy in the mountains. Snow will fall above 1600-1800 meters and rainfall is expected in the lower parts. There will be strong to stormy southerly wind. The highest temperature at 1200 meters above sea level will be about 6°C; at 2000 meters - 0°C.
