At
today's meeting, the government made important decisions on
transport, directly related to the fourth payment under the Recovery
and Resilience Plan. This was announced by outgoing Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Transport, Grozdan Karadjov. A draft Public
Transport Act has been adopted, which provides for the
synchronization of public transport schedules in the country.
Currently, "transfers are difficult and waiting is long,
Karadjov said.
The
new law creates a unified national system for the first time, which
unites the schedules of rail, road, air and water transport.
A
unified electronic transport document is also envisaged, valid for
different modes of transport within one trip. It will allow to
purchase a trip by train, bus, plane or water transport with a single
transaction.
