The international scientific and practical conference titled "Building FAIR AI: Combating Algorithmic Bias for Inclusive Innovation in Europe," part of the ENGAGE.EU Research Label 2025 initiative, opens today at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia. The event is organized by an international team of PhD students and young researchers. Adrian Dinev from UNWE is the main coordinator.
Researchers from various European universities will discuss how artificial intelligence impacts the economy, society and institutions. The main focus of the conference will be on the fair and responsible use of AI technologies, innovation, and trust in digital systems in the context of sustainable development, the university announced.
The Ambassador of France to Bulgaria, Marie Dumoulin, and AI experts from AI Cluster Bulgaria are among those invited to attend the official opening.
