We are clearly aware that you have a limited perimeter and opportunity to choose an acting prime minister and cabinet. Our vision for an acting prime minister is Andrey Gyurov. This was what chairman of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (APS), Hayri Sadakov, told President Iliana Iotova at the consultations on the appointment of an acting prime minister.

Sadakov also drew attention to the recent changes in the Electoral Code and insisted that the president should exercise the right of veto and return the texts to parliament. The adoption of restrictions on sections abroad violates the constitution and limits the rights of many people abroad, Sadakov said. The head of state said that the consultations are for hearing everyone and assess who would be the most suitable caretaker PM to deal with the challenges.
