Plovdiv hosts international Vinaria Wine and Spirits Competition

Nearly 200 samples have been submitted to participate in the International Wine and Spirits Tasting Competition “Vinaria” 2026, the organizers from the Plovdiv International Fair announced. The event, which will take place on February 11 and 12 in Hall 7 of the Plovdiv International Fair, is among the most prestigious professional forums in the sector.

An international jury of leading oenologists, tasters, sommeliers, and traders will evaluate the best wines and alcoholic beverages.

Producers from Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Moldova are competing for the highest distinction - the Golden Rhyton statuette - which will be presented on February 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in Plovdiv Hall at the Congress Center.
