Burgas prepares to apply for European Capital of Culture

Creators and cultural organizations from the country and abroad can join in the preparation of Burgas for European Capital of Culture 2032 through the new initiative "Magazia 32 - a repository of ideas". This is the first open invitation to collect projects that will be included in the city's application book.

The goal is to establish Burgas as a modern European cultural center through innovative and sustainable proposals, the newly established "Burgas 2032" Foundation, in which the municipality also participates, said at a press conference. The application is fully digitalized through the foundation's website, with the deadline for submitting concept forms being May 5. The projects will be evaluated by June 15 by an expert group based on criteria for creativity, sustainability and European dimension.
