Bulgarian flag to be raised in New York on the occasion of the National Day

The Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in New York has called on members of the Bulgarian community in the city to bring Bulgarian flags and white, green, and red balloons to the fourth consecutive raising of the national flag on the occasion of the National Day of Bulgaria.

The ceremonial event will take place on February 28 at 12:00 p.m. local time at the square by the Charging Bull on Wall Street. The program will include welcome addresses, live performances of the national anthems of Bulgaria and the United States, as well as performances by children from Bulgarian Sunday schools and folk groups.
