The trilateral mechanism between Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece to combat illegal migration is reporting positive results, according to a joint declaration signed yesterday in Ankara by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, BTA reported. In the document, Ankara and Athens emphasize the need to continue and strengthen this cooperation.

The declaration also provides for joint actions with the participation of Bulgaria against floods on the Maritsa River, as well as the resumption of the joint commission on water management from 2010.
