Bugaria's outgoing Minister of Innovation Tomislav Donchev met with representatives of TUSAŞ Engine Industries, a Turkish company specializing in the production of aircraft engines and components, which is exploring opportunities to expand its operations in Europe.

The company is an established international manufacturer and a global design center in the aviation industry, recognized for the high quality of its products and services, the ministry noted.

“Bulgaria can offer a strategic location, competitive business conditions, and support for high value-added projects such as those in the aviation sector. It is a priority for us to attract companies that develop high-tech manufacturing and engineering activities,” Donchev emphasized.

The meeting also discussed opportunities for training highly qualified specialists at the country’s technical universities, as well as Bulgaria’s traditions in mechanical engineering and electronics.
