The gross domestic product of the euro area and the European Union increased by 0.3% in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter. This is according to preliminary data from Eurostat published today. In Bulgaria, GDP for the same period grew by 0.8%.
Among the EU countries with the highest annual growth rate in the fourth quarter were Ireland (6.7%), Cyprus (4.5%), Poland (3.6%), and Bulgaria (2.9%), according to further data from Eurostat, as cited by Bulgarian News Agency.
